Assay Office: SHEFFIELD

Date: 1911

Makers Marks: MH & Co Ld (Martin Hall & Co Ltd)

Dimensions: 6.5 inches in diameter, 7 inchees tall. It weighs 402g

Condition: Overall it is in very good condition with just a couple of very minor discolouration spots and some very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and use

Remarks: This really is a very attractive solid silver octagonal fixed handled dish, that would be ideal for bon bons, nuts, chocolates, for serving small fruit such as grapes, cherries, or olives and it would also make a very sweet litle cake server for little buns, cakes or petit fors. When not in use it makes a very nice display item
